About Me
I am Umme Habiba, an emerging professional in the field of English language education with a strong commitment to fostering meaningful and inclusive learning experiences. My academic journey and teaching experience reflect a deep passion for language learning and the innovative use of educational technology.

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Literature with a major in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Tejgaon College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Building on this foundation, I recently completed my Master of Arts in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Westcliff University, Irvine, California, with a specialization in Educational Technology. This program has allowed me to explore the intersection of language pedagogy and digital innovation, equipping me with the skills to design technology-integrated curricula for diverse learners.

Professionally, I have over one year of experience teaching English in Bangladesh, working with students from varied linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My teaching philosophy centers on creating student-driven, collaborative environments that promote linguistic proficiency, critical thinking, and intercultural competence. I strongly believe in leveraging technology as a tool to make learning more interactive, accessible, and relevant to real-world contexts.

This portfolio highlights my academic accomplishments, instructional practices, and commitment to advancing language education through research, innovation, and the purposeful integration of technology.
